Create External Peace

Sanmitra (Friend with a wisdom),

On this most auspicious day of Buddha Poornima and wonderful Full Moon night, allow me to share my thoughts, which cannot take "Full" shape without your participation.

After working and meditating over the most frustrating social issue of Noise Pollution over the last 5 years, I have realized that every one of us suffers from it and is equally helpless about it. We have all accepted it as a part of our life and out of sheer desperation, moved towards trying for Internal Peace by adopting different ways of Meditation.

But, then what about the External Peace? Does it exists around us? Or it is just a Noise? Then what is 'Sound'? What is the difference between 'Noise' and 'Sound' ? There is no message in Noise - while Sound has a Message.

And in this noisy world around us, where is sound?

Just look up in the sky - there is the sound of silence.
In that silence you will feel that somebody is listening to you.
Is anybody listening to you around here?
If you feel so, just look up at the sky and pray in 'Silence'.

I am sure many of you must have experienced this - there is perhaps nothing new about it.
But now we have to use this as a Mission to spread 'External Peace'; individually and collectively!

Pray in silence looking up in the sky, at any time of the day for few minutes and plead to the 'Universe' to make your mind and body a vehicle to bring that "Universal External Peace" on the Earth!

And you would suddenly realize there is chuckling of birds, roaring of sea, thunder of clouds- Sounds - all part of the 'External Peace'. This, which we were unaware of because of 'Noise' which we have created and are solely responsible for.

Experience and experiment with the change, and put into action.
As Gautam Buddha said, "An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea."

Lets make a beginning TODAY by looking at the sky wherever you are and get connected to the External Peace Mission. Please think about it, share your comments with me. You can be a part of this mission by becoming a Volunteer on my project on Creating External Peace.
